Research Paper
For my research paper, I would like to examine the physical renovation of Winter Park in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with a focus on the 1890s. I am planning to compare and contrast the buildings in Winter Park before and after renovations took place in the 1890s. I would also like to research specific builders and thier reception among the community. Furthermore, I think it would be interesting to research the buildings that remain today, some having never been renovated, and find the reason for either acceptance or resistance of the updates in Winter Park.

I think your research paper is good, but you need to be more specific about what you are planning. Renovation is what is defining Winter Park in the 1890s. It is being built, not renovated. So, your paper will be about the builders and their goals. Consider looking at major land owners and their effort to develop specific property.
