I'm impressed by Google's efforts to bring technology to the masses. I question some of the assumptions linked to the "build it and they will come" mentality on display. I think Google should strive for new ways to get people access, but having the infrastructure is only the half (at best) the problem. Insuring that people have access to the infrastructure rests on a whole host of factors (and company) apart from Google's effort to bring the internet to everyone. Each example in this video requires expertise and equipment of varying levels be in place before the internet service available is useful.
