Julie and I have plans to meet this weekend and go through the Rollins archives. We have both had trouble digging up articles online so a lot depends on this trip since the last one was only somewhat successful. The digital archives only returned a couple of pictures of firefighters so far and some of them are not even dated. The only information on Winter Park firefighting available in the rollins database seems to be about the buildings on campus that burned down or the Seminole Hotel. In retrospect it seems silly to have expected any information relating specifically to our topic but I am worried about the fire station archives because I don't think they are computerized which means we will have to physically look at every piece of information, and very soon.
